RESPONSIBILITIES 

What You Can Expect Day-to-Day 

Drawing on your expertise and industry knowledge, here are the primary responsibilities you'll take on as Senior Probate Paralegal Supervisor: 

  • Supervise and mentor a team of probate paralegals, ensuring adherence to legal standards and best practices 

  • Manage workflows, delegate tasks, and monitor case progress to meet critical deadlines 

  • Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, notices, and accountings 

  • Conduct in-depth legal research on probate laws and regulations to address client inquiries and ensure compliance 

  • Facilitate training sessions for paralegal staff on probate procedures and legislative updates 

  • Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for probate court hearings, ensuring timely filing of necessary documentation 

  • Maintain accurate and confidential case files, both electronic and physical 

REQUIREMENTS 

What it Takes  

We are looking for a dedicated investigative professional driven by detail who is committed to excellence. 

Minimum Required:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or a related field; certification from a recognized paralegal association 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a probate paralegal, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role 

  • In-depth knowledge of probate law and procedures 

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills 

  • Strong integrity to maintain confidentiality 

  • Proficiency in legal research tools, case management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite 

Preferred: 

  • Leadership experience overseeing paralegal teams 

  • Experience handling probate cases involving unclaimed property and working with living and deceased owners 

  • CRM experience and advanced technology proficiency
